A Dedicated Space to Explore and Support Sensory Needs. Parkside’s Sensory Suite in Aldershot provides a specially equipped environment designed to explore and support a range of sensory needs.

Using the Sensory Suite

Available Throughout Parkside Programmes

The Sensory Suite is available during Parkside’s programmed activities, including drop in sessions, giving people attending our services opportunities to use the space where appropriate.

The suite can also be booked separately by individuals and groups looking to access Parkside’s sensory facilities.

Our Sensory Suite contains a variety of specialist equipment, creating opportunities to experience different sights, sounds, movement and sensory stimulation within a dedicated space.

Bubble & Hurricane Tubes

Bubbles and lights to create an engaging sensory experience.

Fibre Optics & Colour Controls

Explore different colours, lights and visual effects throughout the room.

Multi Sensory Displays

Interactive wall displays and equipment offering a variety of sensory experiences.

Water Bed & Therapy Chair

Specialist equipment providing additional sensory experiences within the suite.

Sound & Projection

A sound system and solar projector help create different sensory environments.

The Sensory Suite is currently available for separate bookings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, subject to availability.

To check availability and arrange a session, please call the Parkside team directly. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your requirements and make sure the suite is suitable for your visit.

Current charges: First person: £10

Additional people: £5 each

Maximum of four people per booking

Sensory Suite Training

Helping You Use the Facilities Safely

Anyone wishing to use the Sensory Suite independently is required to complete Parkside’s sensory training beforehand.

Training takes approximately 1.5 hours and is currently charged at £10 per person, payable in advance.
